Uniform Requirements
All boys must possess a St Benedict’s College school bag (Grade 0-3) available at the school uniform suppliers. A school cap, available from the school office and a house coloured t-shirt (Grade 0-3) available from the school office. The detailed uniform requirements for Junior Prep, Prep and College are detailed below. Suppliers of the St Benedict’s school uniform are:
Junior Prep
Grade 00
- No uniform is worn and boys use a bag of their choice.
- School cap.
Grade 0 – Reception Year
Summer
- Blue school golf shirt with St Benedict’s badge.
- Blue school shorts.
- Black strap over sandals (no large logos).
- School tracksuit or navy blue St Benedict’s Drimac (optional) may be worn on cooler days.
- St Benedict’s team speedo is preferred (navy jammers may be worn).
Winter
- School tracksuit.
- Blue school golf shirt (long-sleeved or short-sleeved).
- Blue school blue shorts to be worn under tracksuit.
- Trainers (predominantly white) with plain short white socks.
Grade 1 – Grade 3
Summer
- White shirt with St Benedict’s badge
- Grey school shorts
- Black strap-over sandals (no large logos)
- Grey jersey for cooler days.
Sports
- Blue school golf shirt with St Benedict’s badge.
- Blue school shorts.
- Trainers (predominantly white) with plain short white socks.
- School tracksuit.
- St Benedict’s team speedo is preferred (navy jammers may be worn).
Winter
- School tracksuit.
- School blue golf shirt (long-sleeved or short-sleeved).
- School shorts to be worn under tracksuit.

Grade 4 to Grade 7

Grade 8 to Grade 11
Grade 8 boys are to ensure that they have a tie from the start of the year. Formal dress (i.e. blazer and tie) is worn for all masses and assemblies during winter and summer.

- ‘Sports Kit’ – blue & red golf shirt and shorts used at Integrated Day Sport and all practice sessions. Available at uniform shops (Esquires or Edenvale Outfitters)
- School tracksuit – available at uniform shops (Esquires or Edenvale Outfitters)
- White socks and predominantly white Takkies
- Compulsory house t-shirts available at Esquires on school property
NOTE: Parents should not purchase sports items or equipment – other than the items listed above – until boys are actually selected for teams
